I really liked it. You will too!
Four words: A vent a Dor!
a) I'm glad I watched it in HD.
b) I understand a pop or a burst of flame on over-run, but how does the Lambo create such a sustained flame?

I didn't watch it in HD, but that didn't matter because I enjoyed it anyway.
Lamborghini is obviously just screwing around with that flame. It's been done on purpose. How, I'm not sure. But there's no way it's an accident, it's a bunch of engineers acting like children. I totally approve.
I was surprised at how well the Noble performed, and sounded. It was making some awesome noises and the turbos barely seemed to muffle it.
What are you guys watching it on to see the best HD picture?
I download the standard def version, put it on the thumb drive, and watch it on my Blu-ray player. It looks like its HD, it's really clear.

No cat, super rich mixture???
There's a Novitec 360 Stradale in this clip that flames like a gas grill toward the end of this clip. It is quite bad ass:

Well we want to act like children too! The only thing I could think of that would do that under full throttle is some sort of anti-lag system or rediculously high beginning overlap of the intake/exhaust cams allowing an excessive amount of air/fuel mix to blow out the exhaust valves.

Part one of this discussion is finding out how they did it. Part two is applying it to every car we can find.
Aventador uses forced induction? Then that effect is antilag. If it doesn't use forced induction then it's still antilag used for the sole purpose of terrifying Prius drivers. Like Keith said, totally immature, and totally approved. I can't wait to see this episode, gonna hafta find me an open wifi soon....
No, they are natural breathers. Maybe the ignition gets retarded heavily at 8500rpm in a 12-cylinder?
Watch the episode. It's full-on, Fast and Furious NOS flames coming out that tailpipe!

This in full res needs to be my wallpaper.
I want a Noble after watching the episode. No fancy electronics - just an engine, four wheels and a body.
will.i.am's "thundervette" - thats not a thunderbird roof. that car was built on the "west coast customs" show, i think its all vette. not sure what this thunderbird nonsense was about. and they made him out to be a real car guy...and he insisted on driving an automatic cee'd. facepalm
and when his white concept car was on screen, i think clarkson was just being polite by saying it looked like a maserati, and not a delorean. made out of duplo blocks. guy wasnt a good guest at all, not very talkative, seemed too shy.
other than the celebrity segment though, the episode was good =)
and for all the knocking they gave noble, i think they (noble) deserve some credit for getting hammond a 2nd car when the 1st one broke (if they did, sorry i missed it - i had to watch the episode with headphones that went in and out, so i'll be rewatching it with full sound later hehe)
