Segway Rallye?

segways are are like mopeds.. fun to ride until your friends see you on one

A feeble attempt to stimulate interest in a really lame, insanely overpriced toy.

Are Segways still thousands of dollars? If it was like, $400 I could sort of see the usefulness of it. Anything more than that and you might as well just walk.

they say it's a rally race, but it's dependent on weather? segways might be kind of fun if you throw in a little rain and/or snow.

I want to see someone do the Scandinavian flick in one. Then, and only then will I respect Segways.

eBay shows them to still be well over $1K for a working unit. $500-$1000 will get you a project.

I look back and realise, apart from the Oooos and Ahhhs, no part of this concept makes any sence in the real world.
