I ran NEAR identical times on autumn ring this morning with my standard dual shock controller. again, practice makes perfect,,,, (This is my game... anytime i want to play a racing game, this is it. I have like 400 plus cars). i bet I have nearly 500 hours of play time in this game.... lol (Yes, I have no life)

I'm guessing a gaming wheel is pretty much mandatory to be competitive here. Does anyone play with the original controller for these competitions?
I won the last "big" one that we had with the concours / etc. using a regular dualshock.

I'm using the controller for now because my wheel bit the dust.
anyone else feel like posting some times to let me and others know if we are at least in the same neighborhood?
times? well I have not gotten into 37's at autumn ring yet...................
FD or FC. I like the FC but it just is'nt as easy to tune as the FD.
I really liked my FC, I just couldnt get it fast enough... although I am toying with a bit SOFTER suspension, as the FC is much nicer on the tires that way (much more predictable). Maybe when I get home from work.
So far I'm like'n the FD.
I am sooooo near the 10's in the quarter mile that I can taste it, must play with settings more!
Hehehee...
The drag racer in me is expecting better then 10's
I wish I could build a car for each of the different races, then I could spend all of the cash on the motor for the drag race, spend an equal amount on the suspension and motor for Fuji, and go balls out suspension for autumn ring.
Well...
Do the rules intend to imply that during the race where times are submitted, your car must have no more than 37000 into it, with less than half that being the car's purchase price?
Cause I know you can reverse some but not all of the upgrades on your cars. I believe parts can be removed, but processes such as bore/stroke cannot be undone.
See where I'm goin with this?
ooh, I DO see what you are saying! (and I think the only mods that are not reversible are the lightening mods, bore/stroke, engine balancing, port and polish, and the structural rigidity based modifications)
well, then..... Expect that time to be well under 37.000 for the autumn!
No no no no!!!!
Don't even think about doing it that way! This is like the real GRM Challenge, same car and same parts for each event buddy.
Broke into the high 37s tonight.. anyone running mid or low 37s? Just curious how low the fast times are...
38's sow far but I really have not able to tune my self in my car its awsome. But I am still working on the other part.......
Ran a 37.30 last night, but I was pretty drunk, so im gonna have to do that one again, cause I'm not really sure how I did it.
You should save replays of your awesomeness next time maybe.
as stated, i was pretty hammered. I think that I will record some laps tonight though, that way when I cut a fast one, I can edit that part of the video into a small clip and post it up on youtube then link it here for proof though.
Maybe I should plan on picking up a 30 pack on the way home from work and chasing 36's
Twas only 8 newcastles that did it for me.... (in a little over 90 minutes)
Although I am a firm believer in the "ballmer peak"

(now just replace "programming skill" with "driving simulator skill")
fuji what times have you guys been running. I turn eight laps so far my is in the 1:26:510
They must have made the same mistake with Vista...
