I don't think I have ever seen one here in the US.  I used to travel to Japan and would occasionally see one there.  I have been >< this close to getting one but have not pulled the trigger.  I know there is talk about how hot the interior is with the glass doors going over your hear so you are always in the sun.  Apparently there are sunshade inserts to put  up there to block the sun.  Still want one.

I am always pleased by how funky the '90s Japanese were willing to get in order to make relatively plain, unassuming vehicles more interesting.
