Can we??? ECM??? In the six years I've owned the 'V' I've been thru a fair share of 'treads'

Yes it's a HiPo sled ,but lately I've been DD'ing it ALOT. This fact has sent me down the 500TW path. Disclaimer alert... I've not been the most fastidious about the 'rotate and balance' two step. So that being said, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3's and the Cooper Zeon RS3A's both hit the same threshold (major tread noise) at about the same mileage......<21K . I'm runnin' a square setup.....275/40R-19's to enable the rotation part of the process. My latest set are BFG g-force -Comp-2's... was originally looking at the General tire equivalent (g-max?) ,but no go. So these BFG's are the quietest wide tread  meats I've had so far ....OK less <7k and yes I've rotated myself, but from someone who is sportin' twin hearing aids and all i can really hear is the subtle whine from diff #3(long story)....I'm way good so far....

I'm not really sure what you're asking. If you're commenting on your own experience with tires I see no issue whatsoever. If you are selling a personally owned set of tires I see no issue. If you are providing a link or otherwise promoting  a business that is not an approved GRM sponsor, that would be an issue to take up with Margie or Tom.

Only thing I understood from that post was it was something to do with tires.

His bfg tires are the quietest large by huge he has had on his ctsv to date, moreso than Michelins and others.

He also has dual hearing aids. The wY the work for some people is that they amplify certain frequencies more than others. (Person specific). His overaplification seems to be in the frequency of tire noise, so for him this would be an abso-berkeleying-lutely huge quality of life improvement.

If I’m being asked to weigh in, then sure: You should definitely keep drinking.

Was it the run on sentence that makes y'alls elocution hairs stand on end?

I personally recommend these BFG G-force Comp2's to anyone that isn't currently trying to improve their lap time to Taco Bell.

Thunk yew. I’m currently shopping. The Sumohomos were hard as rocks. The AS3’s wore out quickly and are noisy as hell.

Does the square setup require a wheel swap? If so, are you running rears on the front or vice-versa?

Another thumbs up for the BFG Comp Sport 2.   I've been very pleased with them on my E36 M3.  They did chunk a bit during a track day at Road America, but for a daily, and occasional auto-cross, they are about perfect.

One of the best tires I've ever driven when it gets wet.  It pours down here in FL, and they've been pretty remarkable.  I actually just put a fresh set on the M3.

This gentlemen appears to be one of two who can truly grasp the message. Pshovel as far as the wheel swap yes it did.....an excuse to purchase 19x9.5 TSW Nurburgring's wink . The original 'V' rims were 9's up front and the aforementioned9.5's out back .I've been running 'square' for over 3 years now. These BFG G-force Comp2's are very confidence inspiring in the the wet...... while getting that last tenth to Tbell with the RTECTOR on! (ultraclyde)
