Just saw this post over on Reddit. This guy is taking old skateboard decks and turning them into unique gearshift (or any for that matter) knobs. With enough skaters on this board, thought y'all might enjoy.

Those are badass. Kudos to the creator for finding a cool use for old skateboards. I wonder how much they weigh.

You say that you don't need a shift knob, but you'd love to shred on a guitar made from skateboards? Well, there's a company that has just what you need....

Where do they get all the decks, pro teams? I know all of mine got THOROUGHLY used up, then either mounted as wall art or trashed.

I know it isn't as cool as old skate board decks but spectraply is available at any woodcraft store and gives the same look
