FB recently changed Marketplace so it has all these ads from all over the country with the "Ships to you" listed in the ad. I have my preferences set to 100 miles of home and all this other stuff clutters up my marketplace feed. I haven't been able to find a way to eliminate the stuff from outside the 100 mile filter. Any one know a way around this?
Also, I've used the "nearest first" filter, but then it grabs all kinds of parts when I entered "Mini Cooper parts". That's another way it's ticking me off.

Under Filters there is Delivery Method where choices are:
-All
-Local Pick Up
-Shipping
Click on local pick up and you will not see things from far away where the seller wants to ship it to you.

Its a pretty terrible system as it stands. Lack of ability to truely filter. Priortizing paid ads. Some shady stuff happening with the payment systems.
There were some reports of buyers claiming things they recieve don't work, then getting refunds for those items, but not having to return the item, and essentially getting free stuff. In my mind, anytime I'm refunding someone for something, I want the original item (documented with serial numbers and lots of pictures) back in my hands.
I use chrome with tampermonkey scripts to block the sponsored / shipping items

I can't find "Delivery Method" in my filters. All my choices are the radius, condition, and then a sort function by date or price.

That's not the same either. If I choose a category, like "auto parts" then the "local pickup" option appears. I guess I'll just have to get used to it.
Two different answers because it's different on different devices. The first instructions were for PC. The second instructions for Android/phone.
I hate that FBM is different on different devices
It can't be said enough that the Facebook Marketplace algorithm is horrendous. I've been looking for a certain model truck. There are ads in my search criteria that Facebook refuses to show me.
Meanwhile, I click on ONE ad for an old Mini and now I get a thousand MINI Coopers.
Sounds like the same mess that OfferUp is. After they ate LetGo, I pretty much refuse to use it. I have to be board/desperate as berk to even think of trying it again.

Correction... you'll see about 50% fewer of the "ships to you." There are still a buttload of paid ads that say "ships to you."
I have mostly given up on FB. 80% of the ads are misleading because FB "won't let me put that price in," they are missing a ton of vehicle models forcing people to list a Model A as an F150 or an Aspire, and for cripes sake... you can't even search for 2wd/4wd AND THERE ISN'T EVEN A CATEGORY FOR VANS.
It's truly a joke.
The ad bots still think I'm looking for "gothic waistcoats" because I bought one a year ago for a photo shoot.
Looks like I need to do my periodic google search for the strangest E36 M3 I can think of. Any suggestions? I was thinking:
- sheep penis morphology
- 13th century space travel
- nasal intercourse
But I'm open to other ideas.
