Why is it so satisfing to wash your hands in the garage at the end of the day?
Nice!
I used the same sink but ditched the legs for a 2x4 frame with a bit of counter top.
This is before the plumber came to do his job.
I use mine nearly every day. Saves a lot of grief from the wife, walking in the house up to my elbows in grease.
Also mounted a mirror above it to check the back of my arms and elbows. Doubles as a spot to give myself a haircut.
My FIL and I put one in my garage about 8 years ago and I love it. I put some black and white check floor tiles on the wall behind the sink to help keep water off of the drywall.
The only issue now is that it is right outside the door from the house into the garage and my family likes to put crap in it.

Wow, I seriously love this idea. My shop sink is the best tool in the garage, but I've got a little wasted space on each side and I'm in need of a better backsplash than the wall. I think it's time for some renovations.
In reply to Woody:
The legs would actually protect the PVC trap a little bit but as long as you keep your inner Neanderthal at bay, it gives you some extra space to store stuff.
We will be painting our garage white soon and hopefully the 2x4s blend into their surroundings for more of a finished feel.

Can you give me more details on exactly how you did this? Except for the 2x4 (mine will be through a 1.5 inch countertop) this is how I plan to remount mine.
I've got one in my garage. I've been looking for a stainless steel replacement for it-- maybe a used one out of a commercial kitchen. The plastic laundry tub is virtually impossible to keep clean and the stainless ones tend to have a rear backsplash that prevents stuff from getting all over the wall.
