If any of you guys really wants those plans (Jeep, Speedster or airplanes), just PM me and I can provide them for a small fee. Looking back at them now, I had spent quite of bit of time making nice build manuals for them and it's making myself a bit sad to have never done anything with them.

When I checked into the insurance side of it, I got seriously scared of ever selling this thing or plans for it. That lift actually doesn't exist anymore. After my divorce, I moved into a garage with a heated floor and couldn't install it. After it gathered dust for about 2 years, I realized that I could never sell it for liability reasons and I was tired of it eating up a ton of room in my garage, so I scraped it.

Thanks! That thing has been really useful and I'm really happy I built it. I would have to go dig in my old calculations, but it can do 12 tons if I remember correctly. You could build your own version pretty easily.  I made mine pretty fancy, but you could make a simple rectangular tube c-frame.
