Are the Dodge Stratus with the 2.7 V6 something to stay away from?
The main problems associated with these motors seem to be valve stem seals and, well, the fact that there's a 3.0 version of the motor that would have fit right in. The transmissions seem to be made of glass, but using the right fluid seems to help.
Would changing the trans fluid after purchase help the cause?
The 2.7 needs religious oil changes or the motor sludges up and throws the chain.
