Show your desktop

I'm curious if I'm the only one that doesn't have a desktop covered in icons... Also, I want to see what others are using!

Dual monitors, main is 23" I think, the other is 17" if I remember (free from work). That explains the big black section lower left. I use it for Photoshop pallettes and video editing preview screen.

Mine's always covered by open windows, but if you close them you get this spread across a couple of 23" monitors.

I have a folder of 600-odd desktop backgrounds in my Dropbox that my computers share. They change every 5 minutes. Here's a collage of them:

Notice that real close to the house the grass is brown.
It is not until you get about 35 feet away from the house that it actually looks nice.

The desktop is actually from one of our members here. There was a thread titled like "Artsy car photos you took" or something, and this picture of an old dying truck in a field was awesome so I snatched dat.

Yes it's full of icons and even more full of windows. But I can't show you that stuff. So here's my locked desktop:

Close. Smallest is a piston from an air compressor for the air suspension of a Lincoln Navigator. Other piston is from an old York style AC compressor. That IS an exhaust valve from a 24 cyl diesel train engine.

Main monitor stays pretty clean, just current project files that I am working on.
