Its 90 degrees and dropping. There is a thunderstorm that sounds to be 3-5 miles off. I have a decent cigar.
Life is good.
That is all.

Enjoy it. 70 and dropping here, sun still out. Wife's with friends and kid is in bed. No work tonight. I'm also enjoying a quiet moment..
I have a tropical storm crawling up my ass. Tomorrow is going to be fun (seriously. I love this weather)
Thought this was going to be a Presidents of the United States Song. Also, beautiful night to watch cars go by here.
Love storms. When my kid was little and afraid of storms at night, I had him watch for lightning, then count the seconds and stop counting when the thunder comes. Say you make it to five. Do it again at the next flash, if the number gets lower it's coming, if you count higher it's going away.
No longer scared.
I am afraid of T storms due to hail. I watched my GC8 2.5RS coupe get destroyed by hail, looked like a golf ball after.
The GC8 was cool but I have many other cool cars out in the weather now.

I used to be the same. I've never personally lost a car to storm damage- but I know plenty that have. I eventually learned to look at it like a Minnesota roof tune up. If you're gonna do it, wreck it so I get a new one, like a lot of my family used to joke when hail came along.
Yup, we have a screen room out back, and it's delightful: lots of trees, chirping birds and a nice view. We eat out there a lot.
I'm in a 3000 sf wood shop full of dream tools and the bay door open. Pretty fine indeed.
Later I'll have a fire in the back yard.
