Or as someone else put it "Asp Lube"

I found a case of this stuff at work and they were going to chuck it. [mo MSDS - can't have it]. I offered it a hiding spot until I could figure out what it was. This winter I am rebuilding the transfer case of my Samurai and filling it with synthetic. Would a splash of this miracle cure help, do nothing or hurt it?

"Synthetic Weapons Lubricant"

I guess it would depend on if your transfer case was made from recycled synthetic weapons, or if it has synthetic weapons inside it.

But if I turned up an MSDS, I would have to give it back....

Yea, stuff from work is great. I got a whole case of respirators from work when we cleaned put to move to our new location. Several are full face.

Militec is an unusual one. It's one of the very few that seems to possibly have a basis in reality. Their test data is far better than anyone elses. They don't make absurd claims.

I've tried it, as have some friends and customers. It seems to work. But that's as far as I'm personally willing to go.

In my opinion, the need or value of things like this have diminished greatly as oil quality has increased. 30 years ago, with sloppier engines and poorer oils, things like this were possibly/probably of more worth. Today, and especially with things like the synthetic oils, I suspect their worth to be diminished.

Looks like they are trying to break into the military weapons cleaning contracts and throwing a biatch fit because the military is rather particular about that kind of thing. While I would consider using the stuff around the house, for your sami transfer case I would stick with redline products (GRM advertiser) or Mobil SHC630 (available at Grainger's). I have a gallon of mil spec Break Free CLP that I use for weapons and misc. things like can openers. A gallon lasts me ten years or so.

Militec has been around for years, decades in fact. They aren't trying to break into military weapons cleaning contracts and such, they've been in them for many years.
