and saw a commercial for RC Hot Wheels. I was standing there with my mouth hanging open watching the commercial. If these had been available when I was a kid my head would have exploded. I just wouldn't have known what do do with myself. Little itty-bitty genuine Hot Wheels that were fully RC controlled. They've probably been available for months but I've never seen them before...
I can't wait to get some for my girls....
say what? must go google this

$25.
I have a few micro r/c cars, Tomy Bit Char-g. Really just 2 cars and they have interchangable bodies, gears, motors, tires, etc.
Kind of neat, They are smaller than hot wheels. Clip onto the remote to charge for 45 seconds, then drive for 5 minutes. Repeat..

Hmmm, one big potential issue I find in reading the review:
Each vehicle is powered by three calculator batteries, and each controller uses two similar batteries.
Ouch, do you have any idea how pricey those can get? Of course you can buy a pack of 30 for $5 from China, but if you go to the drug store... ouch!
I just saw some similar cars, for $8, that run off of regular batteries (charging the car) and have a bit more traditional controls:

A bit bigger then a HotWheel I believe.

iPhone app controls tiny Hot Wheels car I have seen these at Walmart and they look cool.

I played with those micro-RCs years ago. Thing is there aren't too many places you can play with them. To those things, the crease between tiles is like a big gutter and pavement is like a field of rocks.
Lots of fun doriftu action on a freshly waxed table though
I have a few micro r/c cars. Unfortunately the dogs enjoy them--too much, to be honest.
do I feel another GRM video coming?

My rat terriers found them awe inspiring for all of .025 seconds, then I couldn't get across the room fast enough. I guess they were too close to the size of a mouse and moving rapidly....
