Wonder if it was one of the Mungo clan? They are the only ones nutty enough and rich enough to do something like that and get away with it. 
I doubt it. This person actually lived in Friarsgate. M J Mungo lived in an old house in Whitehall. Unless it was his kid something. Maybe a love child with a secretary.
