Intrusion?
That's for all you suckers with an engine in the front! Put it behind your rear axle the way God intended!

I would agree: head against the headrest, back against the seat, fairly relaxed (good luck with that!) and hands off the wheel. If you have an airbag, probably put your hands in your lap to keep them out of the way. No airbag and you'd probably do well to cross them (not interlocking) across your sternum, with the idea that they hopefully won't flail around to break a finger or something.

All points made by me are pure congecture and do not necessarily rely on hard data.
If the car behind you pushes you into the car ahead that car only feels one impact and the guy behind you pays for both. Hit them and then get hit and they feel at least two hits, and the guy behind you only pays to fix the back of your car, leaving the front of your car and the car in front of you on your dime. Almost always best to not hit the car in front of you.
Yank the E-brake bear right, that way when they gently hit your passenger rear and slowly spin your car into a controlled slide you started they will have more time to slow and stop.
JK. If you see an out take it. Honk your horn and take every inch possible without colliding into anything at all. Tree curb car nothing at all... Hold your brakes... But not hard. Just enough to slow the situation without snapping your neck.
The last accident I had... Last Sunday. We topped a hill and a 20" tree was fully across the road just over the crest. I don't care what I was driving or who was behind the wheel... That wreck was happening. Most of the time you have a split second to react and your gut will do whatever your muscle reflex is. I'm usually a gunner, I gun the gas to get out of a situation, most people hit the brakes. When I saw that tree my brain exploded... A 10ft ravine left and right of road and a huge tree with power lines in it in front. There were no muscle reactions to try other than loosening grip so it wouldn't break my wrist... Then firm braking and wham!
