Leaving at oh my God its late Tuesday night after work.
Im wondering how close im coming to the overlords enclave so I could meet the coolest magazine staff on the planet and buy a sticker for the back of the elky.
Anyone have the address of tge home office, or a good working knowledge of Florida and tell me if I'll be near enough to stop with a wife and munchkin? An hour out of the way is probably doable. ..
We're closer to 1:30 from the Disney gates, but that's highly variable because you have to traverse Orlando.
But if you're down for the trip, we're at 915 Ridgewood Ave (US1) in Holly Hill, which is basically Daytona. A lot of the staff will be at the track this week, but you might catch a few folks on Wednesday.
Also, the Magic Kingdom has a little-known but very cool backstage tour that takes you in the infamous tunnels under the park, and a lot of other cool places. It's like $80, but highly worth it if you're into such things. You can inquire at guest services.

Do you mind visitors?
They don't. If they allow riffraff like me in the front door....
make sure you were vaccinated for Measles

You've gotta explain that one..
the latest outbreak came from a lady at Disney Land.. 30 some cases and climbing as she got sick there, spread it around, and then got on a plane and flew home

don't blame Disney for that: blame Jenny McCarthy.
That was Anaheim Disneyland, not Orlando. In Orlando you'll just get attacked by Florida Man®
Florida man?
That sounds oddly entertaining. ..
At least judging by y'alls news stories.
At Disney if you don't do the behind the scenes stuff, at least buy the book or google search for the "hidden Mickeys." There are ears and symbols everywhere. Fun for young and old

rabies should be recommended, because FloridaMan, not because I've seen a story connecting the two, but because it's bound to happen since I haven't

My first question would be "why?" but I guess I won't be a real dick and belabor the point.

About the backstage tour...Seems like it has an age requirement of 16 years? That seems wrong somehow.

They don't want to spoil magic for youngsters by pulling back the curtain at OZ.
I freely admit I enjoy going there. However, it is worth making sure you look at crowd calendars to make sure you are not going when it is at its busiest.

LOL. That is funny. FL does seem to be the leader in strange behaviors/crimes that make the most interesting news stories.

Hit Hollywood Studios and get some tickets for Fantasmic!
Awesome show! We WILL go back. Next time we'll split a day between Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom then spend an extra day each at Epcot and Magic Kingdom.
Disney World is to the rest of the world what GRM is to the rest of the internet.
Just checked in. Been up since 6am yesterday. Did 800 miles since then.
Stopped by grm headquarters, renewed my subscription, talked with ed, got a dork sticker for the elky.
Proceeded to cocoa beach where my daughter played in the waves and collected seashells. Then plated mini golf, got to pet an alligator with my daughter.
It's already the best vacation I've ever had.
Ill update sunday or monday. But dear God this is incredible.

Aside from some employment concerns I'm really wondering what excuses I have for not relocating when the wife gets offered more money in Orlando.
