Got up ran 4.2 miles in prep for my 10K on Thanksgiving, glugged down a protein shake then an hour of Yoga. Hungrily had some brunch. Actually spent time on my project car. Worked on covering the headlining, the sunroof panel, door inserts and cargo cover. Then went to see Thor with the family. House work, walk the dog then a nice relaxing soak in the tub. A good day.
ran in the last A-X of the season … won my class by .9 sec… had already clinched the season championship … had someone meet me there and take 8 Diamond Racing rims off my hands WOOT WOOT … helps me and helps him
Am I the only one who spent the whole weekend crawling around under my $2013 Challenge car??
What the heck?

Nope, I spent the weekend under a challenge car that wasn't even mine....Ben(SFO) has a lot of work cut out for him the next few days, so don't expect to see him here.
I spent 3 hours on the mower (for the last time of the year). Then we "winterized" by exchanging summer stuff for winter stuff (power washer for the snow blower, fans for heaters etc) from the garage to the shed.
After I got that done, I finally got to go out and put a few rounds through the newly modified Model 11. Fun gun that one.
Let's see, Sunday I did the following:
Saturday was a bit busier. Where I made some alterations to my son's beach wheelchair. Need to get it down to the beach to test it out soon.
My wife and our youngest were a bit under the weather, so I took the remaining kids to church, then had food with the whole family, laughed at the Bengals finding new and interesting ways to lose at football, had more food with the family, then put the kids to bed and taught myself how to use those Aluma-Weld rods from harbor freight to build new intercooler piping for the turbo neon. Oh, and before I went to bed I put up the surplus track lighting that we got from my parents' kitchen renovation about, uh, 10 years ago or so and have been meaning to put up in the basement ever since.
Sunday was nice! Kids slept in, got chores done, contractor gave us good news, listed a bazillion things on fleabay, went to the car parts store, played with the kids at a park, had some good food, and topped it off with a Marine Corps Birthday Party.
This weekend I....
Spent way more money than I have on anything else in my life (ignoring cars), and it isn't even for me.
Moved the girlfriend into her new house.
Dealt with the girlfriends parents all day Saturday and Sunday (what a pain)
Drove 45 miles back to my house, reffed two hockey games, realized I left my wallet at the girlfriends, and drove 45 miles back last night to retrieve said wallet. So I had an hour long commute this morning.
I spent the morning working on the 951, pulled the intake, etc. to try and pull the turbo off to fix it.
Wife was off Antique shopping with her friend who just bought a new house. Wife called me a little while after she left to come down and look at some of the furniture with her.....
By 6pm we had a new bedroom set delivered and a huge ding on our credit card.
So much for doing the landscaping we'd been getting quotes for and the big euro trip we'd been saving up for is likely off or greatly scaled back (meaning no LeMans and just doing a tour bus with a bunch of old people, meh).
Went to church and out to lunch with friends from church, headed up to Cinci with the girlfriend and met up with eastsidemav to go to IKEA (she'd never been before...), then dinner and buying way too much unhealthy but fun and interesting food at Jungle Jim's before driving back home.

No kids. Sleep in EVERY weekend I don't have to get up early for auto-x.
Went to church, watched the Lions beat da Bears for the division lead, tried to recover from 4 hours of yard clean up on Saturday, took the Miata for a last spin around the block. Good thing too, started snowing today.
In reply to cwh:
suggest next time to blow the cop instead of the breathalyzer. wouldn't say that if (1) your daughter and (2) you had never before posted about her stellar judgement.
Worked Saturday, watched Zero Dark Thirty Sat night, got up early Sunday, drank coffee and caught up on the world news. Researched all manner of bits n' pieces on teh int3rw3bs thus finishing the shopping list for the Jensenator and the next step of the GT6 swaps. Then fixed the bad trans mount on the Trooper, did a little light cleaning and then broiled steaks with the kiddo.
Got up at 5:30am to study for a Sunday School Class I teach (Datsun310Guy is also BibleThumperGuy) - taught class, attended services, went home and ate leftovers, took a nap, woke up more tired and confused, missed a Deacon's meeting and Sunday evening services because of the nephew's birthday pizza party, took another nap at 10:15pm and woke up confused at 10:45pm when the Korean daughter ditched me and left me sleeping on the couch.
I had my 14 yr old nephew for the weekend. We went out for breakfast, took the Fiat for an inspection and snow tires. Then we carried out all our crates to decorate for Christmas and spent the rest of the day building a shed from pallets. We grilled some burgers for dinner then watched Spaceballs and Smokey and the Bandit.
