The show filled two parking lots plus a pavilion. Lots of families there, too.

It's a wrap. I know this thanks to the Instagram comments from people who know that car. It had a neat texture to it.
I see a bunch of folks having fun with some cars. Two thumbs up from this guy. Nice pictures as well.

That was pretty much it. Also, neat to see people just hanging out in the parking lot--like with pop-ups and chairs--watching the cars come and go.

I'm not sure it was ever unified. When I first got into cars, there was a huge split between import and domestic owners - probably a wider rift than there is now. And from before then, there seems to have been quite a split between the show and go crowd.
If drifting is the "figure skating" of motorsport, stance must be the "ribbon on a stick" of motorsport.
When I grew up, they would have called this a lowrider show. And there would have been more Toyota pickups.

What is this now, "Grassroots People Having Fun With Cars Magazine"?!? Am I supposed to start looking for pictures of women in swimsuits from "People Having Fun in Fields Illustrated" next?

I vehemently disagree. Restomods are performance-oriented and (usually) subtle or simple. "Stance" is the polar opposite. A better analogy would be the lowrider crowd.

Stance is the equivalent of a participation trophy......
