About to mix my second cranberry gimlet after two glasses of red wine with the dinner my boys made for the family.
My parents are over for dinner. Salmon and red snapper with baked potatoes.
Earlier in the day trying to find a slow leak on my wife's tire. Failed.
Bourbon with TigerMom while we binge various TV stuff. Wonder about people, apparently we had a significant bomb threat downtown tonight.
Snu-Snu earlier which was pretty excellent.
Goodbye 2020, you won't be missed.
Watch tv with my twins, wife's at work and even when she's home she doesn't make the midnight ball drop

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking of the Borat voice on that one.
SWMBO made a tasty pile of trash food, we're halfway through season 8 of Letterkenny, and I'm about to enjoy some of Grandma's home made, sugar free Kahlua. Its mostly Everclear, so I plan on getting toasted. Nicely toasted.

Magic 8 Ball says "Don't count on it."
Our Magic 8 ball says "damn that was good"
Wife surprised me with king crab legs and steak. I've never had king crab legs and freaked a little when I found out what they cost. I'm more of a top ramen and leftovers guy. My wife set up a money tree meaning she taped $20 bills to the dining room table centerpiece and took pics of it. Now I'm having some gentleman jack and read the forum/watch some project farm.
Usually I run the karaoke show at my Elks lodge and end by playing Auld Land Syne on my sax on the steps at midnight while everyone hangs outside and watches fireworks. Not this year. Avoiding crowds, so I'll play Auld Lang Syne on my deck. Not many neighbors, so it should be OK.

Took care of that yesterday.
Had my sister and BIL over for a finger foods type dinner. DW made some onion soup and we had a bunch of hors d'oeuvres and watched reruns of Mystic Britain. They went home a little early (they don't stay up late) and we tuned in just in time to see the ball drop but avoided all the horrid pop culture posturing and lousy music.
Split a bottle of Korbel rosé champagne with DW.
Had Royal Farms fried chicken for dinner, watched first season of Schitts Creek, then F&F: Hobbs and Shaw and drank some Guinness.

That actually went really well. I threw together a quick one shot using current affairs and some movies I've watched recently as inspiration. Two new players, two fairly new players and a veteran player. I surprised and frustrated all of them, and we all had some laughs. New Years resolution is to play more d&d
We steamed oysters for a much reduced crowd. Everyone was gone by 11 and we were in bed by 12:30.
Fixing to make an oyster brown for breakfast and then probably headed to the national forest for a cruise.
I stayed up with my 9 y/o grandson while he taught me to play Pokemon with the card deck he just got. Daughter #2 picked him up just after midnight and I was asleep 15 minutes later.
