This will be our third show. First was opening for Incubus, second was a co-headline tour with Ben Folds.
Sunday we're going with our friends to see a Barbenheimer double-feature. Oppenheimer in the afternoon, followed by Barbie in the evening. It will be my first time out at the movies since spring of 2020, and I'm very excited.

After how busy I've been the last month, and looking ahead to how busy I'll be next weekend, this weekend I'll be doing as little as possible - other than watching F1 and 2 Indycar races, of course.
Autocross tomorrow. Yes, it's going to be hot, but it's the last ever daytime event at Amelia Island. There's a night event in September, and that's it for that venue.
That makes five airports within driving distance of my home that have been closed for autocross in the last few years.
I really hope to have enough uninterrupted time to get the header heat shields mostly finished so I can start tuning a little. berkeleying Amazon not delivering my bilge fans is pissing me off a bit.

Skipping the range because mornings are not my strength and the heat is even worse. Probably playing drums/rearranging the kit/ tuning these tricky mesh heads and making the most of this new low volume setup. We'll have my niece for most of the day too to help keep kids busy.

Went to compete in true street at the close NMRA event. Took the ex wife's ride, a 23 Explorer ST. Did the 30 mile cruise, short cooldown, and 3 passes without missing a beat. Went 13.87, 14.20, and 14.18. Not bad for a 4800# suv that will sit 6.

Yes! Trying to get wife to do this-would be first time since 2020 as well.
Went to the Keystone Truck & Tractor museum in Colonial Heights, Va. It was worth the 110 minute drive.
