Well, when I had that amount I bought a Kubota L3200 and a couple attachments. Love it.
right now a skid steer with a brush cutter is in first place.....

You won't regret it. So far I have a 7' snow blade, 6' finish mowing deck and 6' york rake. Getting a fifth function valve for the front so I can get an articulating brush claw. I got the skidsteer style quick attach so I can buy all the goodies.
I think either a waterfront lot or a lot in a subdivision with community lake access. Buy now build later for retirement.
I tired really hard to think of stuff that was not automotive related. The closest (furthest?) I got was a really nice shop. 2+ bays, a two post lift, central air supply, a bathroom and a large storage loft. Someplace where I could lose myself for hours at a time. A place where I could work on anything and not be cramped or have to shuffle cars around.
I need to play the lottery

I could blow $25K on a few new bicycles pretty quickly. A top of the line spec'd Intense 951 Evo DH bike is a bit over $10K. Hell, I'll have about $5,000 into the new race bike I'm building for this year and that's with my team discount on parts... MSRP on the frame alone is over $3K. I'm paying less, but it still wouldn't qualify for the Challenge forum.
Other than that: wood working tools. $25K would go a long ways towards outfitting my dream shop.
25k and I can't do automotive stuff with it? Well if I couldn't invest it my lending club account I would take it and buy a E36 M3 ton of flying lessons with it. It's something I've always wanted to do but never had the expendable cash to do it.
Fabrication tools- Mig, Tig, plasma, bender, notcher, mill, etc, etc. Start building the stuff you can't find
You guys are awesome, 90% of these answers are directly automotive, lol.
Wife says we would finish the house.
I say the mancave would be fricking amazing.
I would say a nice pole barn with some woodworking tools like you said and also a pile of lumber to start with. I have some small hand stuff now but never get around to making anything because it sucks not even having a table saw , also need a planer and a router to start lol
I would like to update.. I found a southern cross 31 for less than 10 grand near me... that would leave 15 for upgrades and lots of sailing...
I'd put the finishing touches on my 5 Megawatt Christmas Laser and nuclear power supply, rig the roof of my house so it can be opened on the top, and then keep it trained on the city of St. Louis. At all times. Just in case they try something...

Id like to be the first to welcome you to the NSA'a watch list. enjoy your next flight, BTW. wear loose drawers.

In all honesty, with $25K that wouldn't be spent on a blue and white GTS Viper (not in the spirit of this thread), I'd probably spend some of it driving around the country in the RT/10. Call it a road-trip vacation--not for driving, but for seeing the country.
Or... get my pilot license, rent a plane for a week, and fly that around the country.
