Why don't the images a few people post never show on my netbook? Notably, Ranger50, any image he hotlinks doesn't show on my netbook. They do show on my tablet and my big laptop. I would think that a settings problem would kill all the hotlinks, not just the ones a couple of people post.

Now this is just ridiculous. I checked in on the "Do Over" thread, Ranger's hotlinks don't show, Curmudgeon's do, DukeofUndersteer's don't, JohnInKansas's do. That makes no sense to me.

Ranger and Duke's photos are both hosted at the same place (sphotos-b.xx.fcbn.net)
Curmudgeon's are hosted at blogspot.
ECM and John's are hosted at photobucket.
Not sure what effect that has but blogspot and photobucket are widely known and used phot hosting sites.

Well, I clicked that and it opened a Overstock page, then AVG just about had heart failure. Flashing lights, crying children, screams in the night, I guess it doesn't like that site for some reason. It must be catching the images on the way in and blocking them.

When i don't see pics, i usually assume they're blocked at work.
But Ranger in particular has a lot of pics that he posts that won't show up on any device at home or at work...
That said, i see the two you just posted.
Depends on where I upload to. If I want to let "everyone" see, Facebook on a public setting. Everything else, photobucket.
They do on my phone. I'll check the netbook when I get back to the house.
