I'm happy with them. I had to clean up a seam here and there and move a piece, but still, much easier and way cheaper than even buying the material. That pic was just after installation. They look even better now that the leather has had time to relax. The head rest is the same color/material, just the lighting in the pic makes it look darker. The other thing I noticed is that they picked up dirt fast, so I Scotchguarded them, then hit them with some Lexol leather conditioner and they are great.
Looks like I'm going to have to go leather AND pick from a pool of specific seats if I want to go this route.

TL;DR, if I limit my seat purchase to just the seats they offer, I can't get what I really want and it limits things to a very narrow range.

What about doing it yourself? If you have a seat to cut up for patterns it's not hard, just takes time.
Then you can use whatever seat and material you want. Just about any sewing machine should be able to handle cloth upholstery.
I am a pretty good seamster, I just don't really have much time in my life... as in zero. I work 9am to 11pm 7 days a week. Thank goodness I love my job.
Still, a good option. It's an excuse to replace the dull needle in my Elna.
