So I don't really know what I was expecting, but Speed Channel has really upped the ante with their thanksgiving day marathon. Not pinks, not passtime, no NASCAR, not even unique whips...
We've got "Wrecked" from now until 4:30 in the morning tomorrow!!!! Now that's just impressively bad even for Speed.
On another note, there has been some really good car programming on Discovery's HD Theater (or something) channel. Two days ago I saw a two hour segment on the Mille Miglia with LOTS of classic footage, and a one hour segment on Ralph Lauren's amazing car collection. I've even seen ads promising vintage racing on that channel.
Speed has been broken for years now. DVR is the only way to watch speed offerings. Unfortunately it requires 30 minutes of searching the guide each week to find the gems.
Change over to G4. Arrested Development marathon.
I like Wrecked because it is in the Chicago area and I know most all the locations they get called to.
But I agree that 24 hours is a bit extreme. It bugs me because they always tell "What is coming up next" like 2 or 3 times and then show it. I bet there is really only 12 minutes of actual footage per 1/2 hour episode.

Yeah, but Chiller (on Dish Network) has a Rocky Horror Picture Show marathon on all day.
"I remember..doing the time warp..."
Bizarre Foods marathon on Travel Channel as we speak..
I'm watching something on Animal Planet about a scary ass fish. I think his cousin killed Steve Irwin.
FOOTBALL is on all day what is wrong with "you people."

What do you mean, "you people"?
Is anyone surprised that Speed is broken?

Mille Miglia was great, DVR is so cool
