Speed Issues - website, not my car.

I must be a retard because I can't find the search function.

I am sure there was a post earlier about how much faster the site would be since it didn't load all the post previews unless you told your preferences you wanted them.

Well I'm having speed issues and I have all that turned off. It is only this forum and no others so it isn't my server.

Loading times initially and for each post is extremely long. Time to decide you'd better click again because you are sure your computer didn't hear you when you asked it nicely to please give you the GRM forum.

Is something going on? Is this a temp thing?

Well this speed issue has just recently come about, for me at least. It wasn't the fastest site on the net, but it was acceptably slow. Now it has become agonizing. That's why I was thinking/hoping something had gone awry. Or I was doing something wrong - again.
