So I'm stuck in Denmark and one of the few english language channels in the hotel seems to specialize in crap 80s american movies.

So Speed Zone just fired up, my got I forgot about this one. Too bad to bear the name Cannonball 3 but that's what it is, the 3rd in the series.

Giving me bad 80s flashbacks but its amusing none the less.

Hey, head down to Berlin & I'll buy you a beer. Lots of Wartburgs 'round these parts.

If I thought I'd have any spare time I'd take you up on it. Today is my only "free day" gonna be a long week of....well, boring corporate BS type stuff. Dang...when did I become "that guy" Responsibility does not suit me. I claimed to "stop traveling" 2 jobs ago yet somehow I've been to corp hq in Denmark 2x in the last 6 months.

Wartburg parts? Who needs wartburg parts, I've got Porsche parts, sooo much better ;)

Love the part where the Lambo skips across the pond...and when Carl Lewis catches up to one of the cars to return something.

John Candy FTW.

The bottom rung of the cannonball run ladder ....

IMHO Cannon Ball Run 1 > Gumball Rally > Cannonball > Cannon Ball Run 2 > Speedzone!

I can see Tivoli from my hotel room, probably about as close as I'll get, too much to get done.

Legoland would be sweet, next time I'll have to schedule more free time.

That has got to be frustrating, being over there and not really able to see/do much of anything other than work.

I was like 13 when we went there, my dad was a chaplin in the Army and we lived in Germany for 4 years. Being 13 the one thing that really sticks out in my mind about Denmark was the ladies, good stuff from what I remember.

The one thing I was very thankful for later in life was that my parents made sure that we traveled as much as we could when we lived over there, I had friends that never left the town we lived in, what a waste.

Drink some good beer and have a good cup of coffee for me.
