I was at a horse farm yesterday (long story) but I came across what I was told was the farm owner's (super rich guy) personal vehicle. Presumably his tow beast for horses or other toys he has. What an amazing combination:
GMC 3500 Van
- long wheel base
- Quigly conversion
- diesel Duramax
- tall roof with long window
- conversion van interior with mid row captains chairs.
- bedlinered rocker panels
I thought y'all might be impressed so I took these two pictures...

This GMC dwarfed my Grand Caravan. My wife comments about how big our new Dodge is for daily driving. This GMC sends a strong reminder of just how "mini" van the Dodge really is!
That is freakin cool. The fun part with these vans is from looking at it I can't tell if it's a 2008 or a 2018
cool. Also. due to Daughter.. I will be at horse farms more.
Friend of mine bought a high top Nissan van and sent it to Quigley in Pennsylvania for a 4X4 conversion. It's slightly lifted with more aggressive tires and perfect for his time on the Outer Banks. It was very well done.

That's awesome.
The "daily driver size" aspect is one reason I've become more attached to the minivan than I originally expected to back in 2013. I really anticipated the first van to be a stop-gap until I could find and build a full size van, but the more I drove the minivan, the more I appreciated the smaller size. It's still a bit of a compromise at times, but for now I can deal with it. Using a full-size van is like daily driving a full size truck (which I've done a few times) and sometimes that can wear on you, although I know a lot of folks do.
I think I've seen that van in Strongsville
I saw one of these on the highway, a shorter wheelbase cargo van. Had Duramax badges and factory style 4x4 stickers. Pretty much stock appearance other than higher ride height and slightly larger tires.
A family member has had a Quigly converted Econoline for quite some time now.
