First, a so-new-it-squeaked police-package Charger in plain white, just pulling out of a Chrysler dealership with its stickers still on the LR window.

And at the other end of every conceivable scale, an actual Hyundai Pony driving under its own power, wearing a licence plate that indicates it was last registered just a couple of months ago.

I think that's the first Pony I've seen this century.

Always a good question

I live in Oshawa – I actually quite like Peterborough. I was there to help wrangle a 16-month-old, and to have a fantastic lunch at the Old Stone downtown. Curried beef and root vegetable stew makes February almost tolerable.

Yah, the Old Stone's pretty good. Wrangle a 16-month old what? Clydesdale?

I haven't even seen a Pony out here for years and years, and our tinworms are much, much less agressive than yours.

People abuse the Pony, but there were lots of worse cars out there- I'd rock a Pony before a Chevette, no question.

I've owned both, and probably more ponys than some small cities ever had. The Pony was a good handling car, and has some real potential with that 4G32, but the Chevette was a much, much better built car, and DD. I see the odd Pony, but they're few and far between. All my performance goodies are gone, and all I have left is a few cams and a few heads.

I still see an occasional Pinto down here ... can't remember the last Chevette I saw

A 16-month-old human female. It takes a village, y'know – especially if some of the village want to eat lunch.

I'd wrangle a rabid wolverine over a kid any day. At least the wolverine is predictable.

You always know where you stand with a rabid wolverine...

She never acts like a rabid wolverine, but then, since she's constantly surrounded by a dedicated staff that caters to her every whim (or almost), she doesn't have to.

Those are usually the ones that do act like rabid wolverines...
