Springfield, MA Tornadoes

Any GRMers live in the Springfield, MA area? Just checking in to make sure you are all OK.

Ugh, saw this earlier. Hope everyone is alright.

I know that isn't something people in that part of the country usually even have to consider.

My thoughts are with all those affected.

Went right through the downtown area

I was in Palmer when the first one hit. After that I actually went to Springfield for dinner (other side of town from the tornado strike). While there some kind of cell passed through that tore down a tree and shook the restaurant enough to get our attention. Left there and went back to Palmer for drinks, lots of drinks. One friend in West Springfield is still unaccounted for but he's a firefighter so I'm sure he's BUSY. A friend in Monson is safe but sent photos of some severe damage. Not typical New England weather.
