Wow, really, I would like to know what statistics this is based on, or is it just your uneducated opinion being touted as fact.

You should assume that it's opinion since it is based on observation. Plus I am going to assume that they don't put piss thier pants in statistics. Much like the way I feel about mall ninjas at gun shows yelling about survival who could not run a mile if someone had a gun to the back of their head dangleing a twinkie infront. I do account for the 5% though. Not everyone should own a gun and definitly not everyone should carry a gun. If people live in so much fear of where they go everyday maybe they should move or stop being Bob Costas about life. Just an Idea.

Its not fear, its being prepared. Just like wearing a seat belt, you never know when an accident might happen, but you wear it all the time anyway. Atleast most people do.
