I'm gonna have to drink a lot before I can even start listening to the State of the Union Address. I think that will put me at a disadvantage.
I haven't paid attention to a SOTU address in a decade; it's just a tarted-up campaign speech.
The real state of the union is enough to drive me drink by itself.
Maybe "Shovel Ready", "Obstructionist" when referencing Congress but not the White House, "Work together" without mentioning "back of the bus" or "we won". Or how about "fast and furious"... wait, that won't happen.
He's gonna fight OBSTRUCTIONIST(Republicans,Conservatives, anyone who disagrees with him) because you know, it's always someone else's fault. http://nationaljournal.com/whitehouse/obama-warns-he-will-fight-obstruction-20120124
This is SO predictable.
I am hoping for change......you know maybe things will get better if we just invest more....er I mean spend more.....
Does it ever bother you to hear a rich guy talk about how bad rich people are?
Cliff notes:
Lots of spending.
Not saying I disagree with the man, but there is a loooooooooooot of spending in tonights SotU
In reply to Sultan:
Just because you are in a position of wealth doesnt mean you cant agree with policies that would make you less well off. It does not make you a hypocrite.
So no it doesnt always bother me. It would bother me if a rich person wanted other wealthy people to make sacrifices without being willing themselves.
