So I know folks have joked about this here (Hennessy Honda of Woodstock...), but but my girlfriend's father runs a small business which requires him to answer the phone 24-7 (lock smith). Someone; unknown (competitor, disgruntled recipient of services, or teen jokers), has started posting criagslist posts with his number listed at all hours of the night/day with the company number on it. This number; his cell, has received over 100 cars this week from things of various nature. It's hurting his business and sleep and everything now. We figured it would die out but they keep listing like 3-5 random things a day ($400 mustang gt, $50 hand gun, $20 xbox, roofer needed, free Bob Costas). We've got no idea who's behind it but he hasn't had any bad experiences he can relate it to and possibly one negative review show up on yelp/google/facebook/etc in recent weeks. We've tried to find someone laughing about it online somewhere but no luck.
Is there any good way to shut this thing up?
We search the number and flag things as often as we see them but they change it up a bit and relist a few hours later.
