This show is so on point. How do you improve a show, that lets those who grew up in 80's remember, whilst still being new?

A Holiday Special. A Stranger Things Thanksgiving. In four parts. In LA; the Valley.

First episode, El and the Glendale Galleria, Goths and the Rocky Horror picture show.  Second, Jonathan documents the streets, a film maker a real artist, finds Rap Music and Addidas. Third, Will discovers Phone Freaking and prank phone calls. What is Cookiepuss? Fourth, Hawkins Thanksgiving with a dirtbike/go cart, basic coding, the internet, and Dj'ing.(six minutes Doug e Fresh your on)

Lastly, the outro, Winona Ryder: We can't do Christmas in Hawkins. Maybe, Spring Break. To make it more excellent add Keanu Reeves in there somewhere.

Already watching for the second time, slower.

So I've binge watched all 3 seasons this week while cutting stickers. On paper, this show should be right up my ally. Monsters, dimensional travel, lots of fire and action, decent soundtrack, commercial free, but I had a really hard time focusing on it.

It's definitely better than the average Netflix show, the special effects were pretty good, the story was interesting in itself, I just didn't really enjoy it.

I'll probably watch it again in the future, try to pay more attention to it and see if I like it more, but I just don't understand why it's such a phenomenon, then again, I rarely understand those things.

I finished it last night, really good.  My only complain, other than transportation for MadMax I didn't see the point of Billy's character.  He just kind of took up space.

I'm really hoping there's more to him later. He's a great real life foil.

“How do you like me now?”

Lol, I said the same thing to my wife during the first episode!

I don't know. After the machine went boom I turned to the Dancer and said, "Bets Hopper went through the gate?"

I was slightly surprised (and a bit disappointed) that they even teased that much of a chance of his still being alive... when the 'snow' started to fall over the credits I was expecting nothing more than that (and didn't expect it to be real snow but the 'snow' that permeates the Upside-Down). Simply having that floating around through the whole credits would have been enough of a tease IMO. They'd already hinted at the Russians having at least encountered the Demigorgon with Erica's noting the cage and asking Dustin about the size of the Demigorgon and the electric cattle-prod. Kind of hard to believe they'd captured one though given a dozen or so soldiers with automatic rifles hadn't managed to take one down in the first season...
