Hope is not lost... my boy (11) helped crew for me this weekend at NJMP. I beamed when he ran out on the grid to pull the pin to the fire bottle and help cinch the window nets.
that is a memory he will keep with him a LONG time.
I still remember sitting trackside at the Pleasantville speedway watching my father race his opel on the board track there
And for an encore, today he put a perfect show outside cross over inside move on me at the go-kart track for the win, in the last corner. Kid scares me sometimes.
I'm sure there was some of this after the win.
Yeah, I totally misted up today when my boy, all of 4 years-old, told the lady cutting his hair that he wants to be a Formula 1 driver when he grows up.
