I have a camera mount that clips to the bill of a ball cap. There is a threaded piece that goes into the little spot on the bottom of the camera, allows me to mount the little Midland video camera or my Canon Sureshot. They both capture video and audio and allow me to get footage of wherever I am looking.
Aside from not spinning around or making quick motions, any suggestions? If I am the starter, it is sort of nice, because I can chat with them a bit, and still see the course. I blocked the camera with the golf umbrella a little the first time, but am not putting that down, because when it is 107*, you want some shade both for me and the person in the car, especially if they are exposed to the sun, like in one of those glass top C4 Corvettes or a Miata, which both seem pretty ubiquitous.
I am open to suggestions. I know to avoid quick moves with the head. If I am working the course, I try to pick a station with a good view. I don't know about music, unless I could do it and keep the sound of the cars, because that is music to my ears. Windows Live Movie Maker is the software on my computer for this.
