I like the idea of parting motorcycles. A straight bike with flat tires for $800 can easily be doubled if you sell the forks (few hundred), the engine in pieces (lots if you break it all the way down), wheels ($100+), etc...

I've been thinking about writing and/or teaching night business classes at a local or online college. I've also been toying with some sort of real estate or other goofy sales based thing... Potentially selling FBA on Amazon, I just need a product. I have access to a FBA pro seller account for free.
Riley_88 wrote: Freelance Writing - This is really, really appealing to me. I have had the opportunity in the past to write a few articles for a fairly large ATV magazine. I know the owner and he was kind of enough to include a few submissions along with one cover story on buying a used ATV (which is not my area of expertise but with a little research it ended up going well). Payment for those articles however was nothing more than kickbacks from manufacturers passed on to me. I did make a few dollars doing an article once where I interviewed a stock car driver which was an interesting experience. I would love to pursue this but I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to find the opportunities or if there even are any in my area. Any input on how to go about this?
Come up with ideas for articles and approach magazines with them. The worst they can do is say no. Not project cars, that's always in-house because the magazines can count on their staff but not so much on freelancers.
