As awesome as the marketing/packaging is, I have a bad feeling this is re-labeled Yoder's:

Needless to say, canned pre-cooked bacon does not get a good review.
10+ years shelf life Includes easy to throw can.
I think it's meant to be a weapon after 11 years....

I wouldn't worry about it any more than any of the other stuff in bacon:

I'm not trying to be a beeotch... I just strongly believe that processed foods are pretty damn dangerous to humans in general. After giving up processed foods and eliminating most of my food intolerances with the help of an alcat test (www.alcat.com) I lost about 30 lbs and have kept it off quite easily with no real increase in exercise or decrease in food volume. I'll get off my high horse now... but that crap causes cancer food preservatives and corn are freaking bad for us as a whole.. both eating and environmental impact.

You know what is bad for you, that crap you eat at fast food restaurants, SODA, beef jerkey made by large corporations, chips, etc. Energy drinks are my one vice right now that I am having a tough time breaking away from. I have no idea why though, I only drink the low carb ones, but that just means I'm not ingesting 20 teaspoons of sugar.
Anywho I was trying to make a funny thread about bacon, not a science lesson.
I don't have to worry about cancer, none of the men in my family live that long. I'm going to have a can of bacon
Yeah Wally. At 63 YO I break a family record every day I wake up. Still going OK, having my grand adventures. (Just got back from Trinidad, wher did YOU go!)
My Dad's going to be 60 this year and going strong. He lost his father and an uncle to heart attacks, one uncle to a stabing and one to a shooting, but no cancer to worry about. None of them made it 55
I have a CMMG AR15 in my gun safe right now, a basic 16-inch A2 carbine. I put a .22LR conversion in it and man is it a sweet shooter for water jugs.
I made a bad move tonight at Chili's. got their Super-Duper Taco's w/ bacon. Not even an hour and half later I was on the crapper.
