I'm sure this is old news but I don't get out from under my rock very often.
Buncha whiners
I mean, cummon folks relax. You let some Howard Stern wannabe get you riled up and you whine to the Bruins management? Did you also tell mommy when your brother was "looking at" you? Grow some balls and a sense of humor and find a clever way to retailiate. These aren't real hocky fans, these are wussy posers.

I think it's hilarious in itself that Tampa Bay has a hockey team. Don't you need to understand what ice is to play hockey?

Then again I'm guessing the team consists of like twelve Canadians, six Swedes, four Russians, and a token guy from Michigan or North Dakota. So it's all good.

I officially want Tampa Bay to lose every game now. I've never heard of such a pittiful display of wussiness in my life....and I'm even including myself and my wussiness in that!!

In my experience, Tampa Bay "fans" are pathetic. We drove down last year to watch the Steelers beat the living E36 M3 out of the Succaneers. It was 60/40 Steeler fans when we got there...90/10 when we left. Tampa "fans" were dumping beers on people from the nosebleeds, spitting, etc. We kept explaining to them they only needed 9 more field goals to win the game! Funniest part was hearing "Yeah, well if you love the Steelers so much, why don't you go back to Pittsburgh!?" Then explaining to these idiots that I drove 500 miles to see this game. Many others flew down from the 'burg. Oh, and the game was BLACKED OUT that day. Couldn't fill the seats even with the mighty STILLERS in town.

I just hope the B's can pull this off,and then it won't matter what happens with posters/signs. Maybe the B's marketing department can come up with something witty to put out if they win the series.

Go Bruins!!!!!!!!!

Tampa- wife is from there, I have lived there for several years. Tampa people are STRANGE!! It's like a very large, crowded little redneck town. The college football team is pretty good, though. UCF Bulls. You can still drive 20 minutes north and be in real country, though.

The douchebag radio show host who called for the signs to be taken down, Cowhead, is a racist, homophobic, misogynistic jackass. He actively encouraged his audience to phone the Bruins marketing team and call them all manner of slurs (fxxxxt, n-word, c-word, etc.). There's a rumor that the reason why the Bruins marketing team took the signs down was because they were receiving death threats from the "Cow Klux Klan" (yes, that's the name of his fanbase. Classy, huh?). Cowhead used many slurs, unedited, on the radio during the 3:00pm ET hour. I've already lodged a complaint with the FCC. Have a listen (if you can stomach it, Very NSFW language) to his show on the 16th.

It's one thing to ask the Boston marketing team to take down the signs. It's a whole other ballgame to threaten them. Teasing about fixing bandwagons =! calling a woman a c-word.

Seriously I hope this shames these loosers to the point the team up and moves.

The sad part about it is that the Lightning are a good team. If I weren't rooting for the Bruins, I might have been rooting for them instead at this point. Same with the Devil Rays, oops, "Rays," when they almost won the World Series in '08 (Their name change was stupid. They weren't promoting Satanism, THAT'S THE NAME OF THE FISH). Tampa fans obviously don't know how good they have it, because they do not deserve the teams they have.

Never trust a town with a hockey team that doesn't get snow. Hockey should be played on a pond as God intended.

Does anyone else find this hypocritical. Ya'll want to sit here and call Tampa a bunch of "wussies" but yet now they do something you don't like and you run crying to the government to tattle tell. I think it would been more entertaining to beat them(Bruins) at their own game, but to each there own. You sit here and cry foul and then you do the same thing cause they said something you find offensive. I might be wrong but I dont see a difference Rex.

Well, one is illegal (breaking FCC rules) and the other is just a pittiful reaction to some hillarious ribbing from an opposing sports team.

Like I said before I don't agree with complaining about the posters, should of beat them at there own game.

Well last year when they ran that ad, the Flyers ended up getting the last laugh. If you ever want a good laugh, check out the commercials the Bruins marketing department comes up with for the bear. Absolutely hilarious, they really are top in the league for marketing comedy...

For reference, and one of my favorites, Never Date Within the Division...

Well, one of them involves taking proper channels to file a formal complaint. I'd also assume this particular instance was also respectful and mature.
The other instance involves a bunch of upset guys calling people they don't know cts, niers, and making death threats. If there is no significant difference between those two scenarios then I'll make sure I never cross you in the future.
Not that any of that matters, the world is ending in a little over 5 hours.....
