I wonder if there is a followup. There is no way to prove a thing without a witness. Kids say some stupid E36 M3. Thats the only fact in thus story. Adults do some stupid E36 M3, so this could have slipped in either direction quickly.

Although I found this story a little crazier.

I look at Florida as a stupidity lightning rod. If Florida wasn't there, the stupidity could strike everywhere, instead it tends to concentrate there and can be harmlessly laughed at from afar.

Think about about how much worse it could be to have that level of stupidity striking everywhere.

The only difference, had the child been wearing protective gear, would have been the omission of that fact from the news story. Police still would have been involved. Dad still would have been pissed. Society would still say 'Holy cow, that's a really bad idea. Morons from Florida'.

The nannies (as somebody called them in another thread) just wouldn't have been able tweet their safety whistles about lack of adequate protective gear.

My wife's family used that term so I thought this was about a switch and discipline.

I said it before in the other thread on this.. I had a friend's mom die of cancer. During the summer she would spend every waking sunlit moment she was not working on the beach. She also smoked like a train. Towards the end, she did not look human anymore, It was a real shame.. she was loved by everyone and they managed to fill the church to SRO for the funeral
