Wow there are a lot more GRM'ers near me than I originally believed.

As a PA native who has lived in Indiana, Lousiana, Montana, California, Texas, Florida, and Ontario.... I would move back to CA in a heartbeat if I could afford it. The car laws there are some of the more easy to get around that I have ever seen.

Not to mention the never-ending supply of cheap, rust-free vehicles.

It will not be cheap, but does not have to be expensive. The more awesome things you want to have ready access to, the more expensive it will become. Expect to bump into things you are not wild about, and people who are not wild about what you are into. If you can ignore that, you will find plenty of people whose madness closely resembles your own.

I hope to end up back there when I retire.

I like to say California is where they make old cars.
