I've got two cans of WD-40 on the bench that have lost their fizz. Yeah, there's something splashing around in the bottom, but there's no compression.
Drill a small hole (please don't dig up my old thread of doing this with spray glue) and pour the contents into a container. I filled a pill bottle with WD-40. Keep a coupla Q-Tips or a paint brush around and everybody gets lubricated!

Adendum to Tech Tip #247:
Obtain an old syringe from a buddy who is either diabetic or has real problems and fill it from the pill bottle... they work great for lubing small things like N gauge railroad engines and other tiny machines.
That seems to happen alot at work with wd40 brakleem etc. and i just empty said contents into those plastic spray bottles. I like to write funny things on the bottles such as windex or filtered drinking water
Adendum to Tech Tip #247, part II: Save money and either buy something better than WD-40, and/or buy in bulk and get yourself one o' dese Sure Shot cans.
Buy WD40 by the gallon n use a spray bottle to apply
Vet type syringes are cheap from Tractor Supply, small to large/ needles available too. I use 'em for everything... fillin' Holley fuel bowls, evacuating master cyls, shooting grease n oil to remote spots, measuring paint n hardener by the ML in ratio for airbrush/ touch up apps, etc. Priceless... but cheap

sure shot cans are the best if you buy in large quantity. love em.
Real GRMer would have installed a Schrader valve in the dead can.
