Thanks for the not even close part number swap at the warehouse.
Now, I’m out another week with marginal brakes. Oh well, at least it’s the SWMBO’s vehicle and not mine.

I'd almost be happy to deal with issues like that vs. other Rockauto issues (parts are complete garbage)

I’m to the point that there computer says it’s not there problem. You got what you asked for whether they fit or not, in their return system online.

There’s only certain things I buy from them. If it’s not them, it’s summit/jegs/local carquest.
Amazon isn't bad at all for buying.....well anything. If you get the wrong thing they sometimes don't even require you to send it back.
They sent me the wrong size shirt for my wife, told me to keep it, they refunded it in 15 min and credited me for a free month of prime

Yeah. And usually their brakes are name brand stuff and good quality. I guess that only applies if you receive the right stuff :(
This was a new spark plug from rock last week. Apparently their quality control guy took the week off.

That’s what I got too. Also the last thing I ever bought from them.
Ebay and amazon have been much better than rock for a long time.

This happens all the time with parts suppliers that do commercial sales. A "defect" return gets put back on the shelf as if it is new (because someone made a mistake or wasn't paying attention somewhere in the return process). I can't tell you how many times a customer has complained to me because they had a core part delivered to them by mistake.
I'm not defending them...just explaining how it happens.
And if you think they have someone opening every box (ala "quality control guy") before it ships...you don't understand how they're selling parts to you for 1/2 the price (for the sake of argument) of your local parts store. Hint: RockAuto doesn't ever touch a lot of the stuff they sell.
