I know where to find two of them
MIL is visiting from Waterloo Iowa. She thinks salt and pepper are too spicy and is in charge of tonights meal. There are "food" items in this house I have never experienced and don't particularly want to. Lots of prefab boxed stuff. There were 7 boxes of jello last I looked.
Tomorrow we are going to my family's where my brother, who went to culinary school but is a TERRIBLE cook is in charge of the food. It will all be over sweetened or over salted. Last year he made an apple risotto but didn't like the idea of using chicken stock with apples so he used apple juice instead. The resulting mess was some sort of candied rice syrup that still gives me nightmares.
I will be filling the kegerator, enjoying the time spent with family and friends, avoiding all political conversation and wishing I had better food to eat.
I'm working Thursday morning and the wife starts a new job on Friday so we're not going to see anyone. I made reservations to go out for dinner instead of making something when I get home.
Inlaw's at 1, then my parents around 5-6. Less than 90 minutes of driving total, so it's not bad. MIL bacon wraps the turkey. I'll bring my pudding pie. It is basic jello pudding but made with 1/2+1/2 instead of milk. No obligations at my parent's house.
I am going to enjoy a day to myself. Chuck is headed to his mom's and I will have the house to myself. I plan to watch my favorite Christmas movies, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and A Long Kiss Goodnight. Not necessarily in that order. Good times will be had.
The ex has the kids with her swimming with manatees in FL.
I'm having frozen pizza.
Although the local restaurant's $10 all the wings you can eat for NFL games is tempting me...
Having the family over for Turkey Day and looking forward to having the kids play. Doing some different takes on Turkey and a bunch of good sides to go with. Today was baking and prep day with the pies and pumpkin roll sorted.

Make it here ans come eat steak with me. Frozen pizza for thanksgiving is sad.
Part of wife's family(13 people) are coming here for dinner. Better than the full 35 of them!
Spent Tuesday tearing bread for stuffing and snapping green beans while wife was baking pies (3 pumpkin, 1 chocolate, and 1 lemon meringue). Today she made up stuffing(1 batch for in turkey and 4 dishes to bake) while I set up the table.
Tomorrow will be up at 6am to start cooking for meal at 2. Friday is clean up the mess. I'll be glad when the holiday is over.
I am thankful for my wife's spectacular turkey roasting skill, followed by her old world no-e36m3 booze-laden bread pudding. And the fact that we now have enough space and food to have three complete strangers (coming with our older daughter and my MIL) over in addition to the 10 adult family peeps and 4 young grand kids. I have 6 bottles of wine, a fresh liter of Bacardi Oakheart, Glenmorangie, and Drambuie.
