You know what?! The Easter Bunny isn't real! Over there, that's just a guy in a suit!
Feel free to post any similar ads as a continuation of the thread... Co-Part is your friend on this one.
That reminds me of the Wrangler 6-speed transmission "for parts" that was on eBay Motors a year or two ago, for something like $500.
It looked like a zombie. That is, the aluminum was so damaged by the vehicle fire that the internals of the trans were plainly visible. And the internals were severely rusted.
For some reason, it had no bids.
IIRC it was a New Venture trans. 3550 maybe? I was looking for one for a stillborn Neon-engined project and found that poor thing.
My house burnt down. I had a FZR600 in the garage and my friend was keeping his bike there. Both melted pretty good.
I still have a bucket with what is left from my fathers coin collection that included about $1000 in those old quarters that were made from silver. Not sure what to do with it.
In reply to Rusnak_322:
If you mean $1000 face value, the metals value is about 12-15x the face value.
I would take it to a coin shop or jeweler and ask about the value. It is probably too small an amount to be of interest to a smelter.
