I replaced my pull start by winding in some paracord and using a 3/4" wood dowel with a hole drilled through it for a handle. Works great and took 10 minutes.

Snowblower was running funny at first, despite being stored empty. A few tanks of fuel with Marvel Mystery Oil in it seems to have cleaned out whatever was in there.

I just broke down and ordered $2k worth of blower attachment for my rider. Sick of working on my walk behind...

I've got a Honda HS520 that I got from my grandfather when he got a driveway too big for it. Starts on the first pull every time.

Its always been put away with the fuel drained both from the tank and the bowl. I think its probably 10 years old now and I've replaced the rubber auger paddle things and the scraper once.

I run ethanol free gas with stabil for as long as I can. I buy 5 gallons of it at the track at my last event of the year and use it for my last mowing of the season as well. I realize its age has nothing on a lot of the blowers you guys have, but so far so good!

Its always been big enough for my decent sized driveway, but this year with the ice I've been feeling like I wish it was self propelled. I will be looking for the next size up Honda at the end of the season.

I guess I should also mention that I use whatever leftover synthetic oil I have, and change it annually with the plug. I know its overkill on the maintenance, but if this thing doesn't work on those snowy mornings I won't make it to work.
