Yeah they didn't have real heavy competition though. It wasn't "who's the best" to make it to the playoffs, it was "who sucked least". It turns out the packers sucked less than the bears, and that's almost better than winning the Super Bowl.

I don't have high hopes for my Pats this weekend. The fact that we did well enough to have a bye this year is really a commentary on how crappy a season this was all around.
A Packers loss is almost as satisfying as a Bears win. Yesterday was a fun day to watch football.

They are a dangerous team when Rivers has time in the pocket. Their record isn't great but look at Rivers' stats. Dude had some good games this season. I followed him this year because of fantasy football(dungeons and dragons for jock sniffers).
What gets me more (I don't watch football) is how much of a group of asshats the Packers fans are. Packers get beat, suddenly my FB is flooded with "Blah blah blah for all the packers haters, let's see what YOUR team did" etc etc. Packers fans are the berkeleying WORST.
In defending Sconsin", its all they have. NBA? Meh. MLB? Meh. NHL? Nonexistent.
At least I don't have to hear Pack fans saying WAbabab-Farve, WAwawAbh-Superbowls, Weagaghher. Until next year.
This weekend was tough as I had to choose whether to pin my hopes on the teams I preferred or on the teams that may help the 'Hawks make it. I severely dislike the Saints, but I think they'll be easier for us to beat then the Eagles may have been. Hate the 49ers and just generally disdain the Packers. Prefer Indy to KC by a little but I think the Chiefs would have been easier for Seattle to take down too.
Really just sad to have the Cards not make it. 3 AFC West and 3 NFC West teams in the playoffs would have been cool.

This is quite true. Personally I'm glad they're out of it- so I can go back to not having to hear it til next year.
