I buy cheap Hanes t-shirts from Walmart. Wife HATES them.
Comfortable, soft, tag less, cheap......I wear a 3x even though a 2x is my size. Wife would prefer I dress up more and get shirts from Macy's (that don't fit).

Same thing here. I prefer either cheap pocket T's for wrenching or my dwindling stash of various car event or tourist trap restaurant t-shirts for going out in public. Wearing anything fancier then that doesn't allow me to wear wore out sneakers and grease stained jeans at the same time.

I needed a black t-shirt for a church play I was in and all they had was the pocket tee shirts at Wally world.
The wife hates them....she keeps asking me if it is still 1970 and if I am keeping my smokes in that pocket. (I don't smoke)
My wife gets me Nascar shirts at the end of the season. I usually get a few nice heavy cotton t shirts from Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon for about $5 a piece in XXXL. Gordon ones usually get a coment from someone when I go out in one. When I went to see here in the hospital a guy in the elevator said "You know he's gay right?" I my best Charles Nelson Reily voice I replied "I know isn't he just fabulous?" He started trying to get out between floors.

for wrenching, garage sale or thrift store T's.....you know they're going to get destroyed, anyway, so why not put that welding burn or grease stain in something that you can throw away?
