Kingston NH it's the long weekend in September as the season closer.
What I'm truly trying to make a run at is what's viewed as the toughest stock outboard race in North America. The Top O Michigan marathon .
2 days racing, over 80 miles on your knees in a plywood boat. I purchased the motor to run it and the runabout pictured above is the training boat.
If I can successfully complete the 40 minute marathon in Lincoln Maine next May long weekend I'll make a run at the Michigan race.
See here.

Nick or duke , if your coming to an event bring pants and shoes you don't mind getting wet. I'm not what you would call "good at racing " but I'll spot you the 20$ for a weekend apba pass so you can get in the water when we start the boats. It's by far the best place to watch from at most sites.

Oh hell yes!!!! I'm just under an hour to Kingston, so I'm 100% in for this, and no need to spot me the $$$- I'll pay it forward in dinner and drinks of your choosing if you'd like afterward!
Just realised I never posted up finished pics of my duckpunt.
Start off with some plywood:
and some more plywood:
Then you add some clamps:
Then you add some more clamps:
And even more clamps:
just a few more...
Finally some paint:
And before you know it, you have a boat!

I'm not 100% sure I'll be in Kingston next year, if I do the Michigan race that may be most of my racing budget.
Kingston is a small pond and it gets real rough in a hydro at 60mph! But it's great in the runabouts!
