I had a visitor on Thanksgiving.

Pretty sure these guys have never spent any time outside on a farm. They are exhausted. 

Vet thinks Luna has "rapidly spreading metastatic cancer in the spleen/abdomen/lungs" with a side of internal bleeding.

I'm so sorry to hear that.  It's heartbreaking.  They are just as much part of the family as any human.  I don't even want to think about losing a dog, I have 4.  One that lives with me full time and the other three live with my ex-wife and I get to see them pretty often.  They (especially the two females) are absolutely amazing and are great companions.  I don't have pictures of all of them on this computer, but here are the two females...the black lab lives with me and the sheppard with my ex.

Sad news. I don't know if I've ever felt as helpless as when Dusty was diagnosed with terminal cancer. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. 

Today was a pretty god damned E36 M3ty day.

Dreamed I saw Luna last night. She was playing about 5-10 feet away from me and wouldn't come to me when I called and I couldn't get to her.
Threw me off all day.

This is Winter, sold as a Chiweenie (Chihuahua-Dachschund mix).  Now with legs like Secretariat and 40lbs., but we're keeping him.

Tip:  For his medicine, we mix it with yogurt in a shallow bowl and chuck it in the freezer.  When you ask if he wants ice cream his butt hits the ground faster than gravity!

So proud.

I mean, I was getting rid of that couch anyway but come on.

Chloe is getting in bike ride shape. She sprints well, but distance is gonna take some work

Nope, just a carryall with 6" of lift, 25" tires and a kohler v twin.  The dogs absolutely love it.  We use it to haul them to the water hole in the woods and let them go all ape-s crazy in the water.

Also, Millie is now about a year old and about 65lbs but i have not weighed her lately.  Still best buds with our other pup Weezy. Still has her derp ears laying on her head like a bad toupe. Still super sweet, sensitive and a great dog.

Thanks! Yup. Likes to be carried like a puppy too. 

Just had his semi-annual check up today. Gained a few pounds but otherwise healthy and a good boy. The cyst on his leg we noticed in February didn't grow at all so I'm a bit relieved. Check again in February.

At 8 years and 3-4 months this old man still gets the ladies attention wherever we go.

The Poop Bag of Courage? Trying to get them used to the leash a bit more, mostly we just go to the dog park. I'm not carrying that E36 M3.

And just because we take so many photos of the ladies I did a thing:

K was 42# yesterday and G was 36#. They will be 7 months 10/8.

My new Border Collie puppy, Mist. She is seven months old.

She is as smart as any Border Collie and very active. Sheep herding and frisbee classes are in her future.
